Registration
A registration is a request to attend the relevant DDC event and becomes binding when DDC confirms it in writing. DDC may refuse a registration where appropriate.
Fees and payment
Any delegate fee and applicable taxes must be paid in accordance with the booking or invoice terms. DDC may withhold access where payment remains outstanding. Discounts are subject to the conditions stated when offered.
Cancellations and substitutions
Under DDC's previously published delegate terms, cancellations made at least 30 days before an event were eligible for a refund less a 10% administration fee; cancellations 29 days or less before the event and no-shows were non-refundable. Employee substitutions may be accepted, subject to DDC approval and the applicable booking terms.
Event changes and force majeure
DDC may change event format, content, venue, timing or speakers where necessary. If an event is rescheduled, registrations may transfer to the rearranged event. Events beyond DDC's reasonable control may require postponement, relocation, format changes or cancellation.
Conduct, photography and recording
Attendees must follow reasonable event instructions and standards of conduct. DDC may create photographs, video and audio at events and use event media for legitimate editorial, promotional and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law and DDC's privacy policy.
Data privacy
Personal data relating to event participation is handled in accordance with DDC's Privacy Policy. Privacy questions can be sent to gdpr@ddc-financial.com.
Liability and governing law
Liability and governing-law provisions may vary according to the event and jurisdiction. The previously published DDC delegate terms specified New York law for US events, Dubai law for UAE events, Saudi Arabian law for Saudi events, and English law for other events. Any specific written terms supplied with an event booking take precedence.
